They are still involved with animal sacrifices and spend many hours praying to idols and dead gods. Children often wear black color around their eyes
to scare the demons away, their eyes being the gateway to their hearts.
All hindus are burnt to ashes when they die. Often, if they are ill, they will swallow gold or jewelry so they can take it into their next
life, or have it for their "journey." The man in the background of the third photo, below, is combing through the muck looking for the coins of gold
and jewelry for his own personal use.
Women who die while pregnant and children who die under the age of five are put into the river. The same river they bathe in and from which they drink.
This is a land with many people living without Hope. The enemy has totally blinded their eyes to the Truth and the people are caught up in their traditions and beliefs
that have been passed down for centuries.
Afraid to change and look for truth, they live in bondage and fear for the rest of their lives.
