India is an ancient land of high artistic achievement. The Taj Mahal, pictured at left and built by an Indian prince as a tomb for his wife, took 20,000 workers more than twenty years of long work days to complete.

But, it is also a land of superstition and no one stops to think for a second that what they do or practice makes no sense.

They are still involved with animal sacrifices and spend many hours praying to idols and dead gods. Children often wear black color around their eyes to scare the demons away, their eyes being the gateway to their hearts.

When a goat's head is cut off, everybody will run and try to get some blood to rub on their foreheads.

All hindus are burnt to ashes when they die. Often, if they are ill, they will swallow gold or jewelry so they can take it into their next life, or have it for their "journey." The man in the background of the third photo, below, is combing through the muck looking for the coins of gold and jewelry for his own personal use.

Women who die while pregnant and children who die under the age of five are put into the river. The same river they bathe in and from which they drink.

This is a land with many people living without Hope. The enemy has totally blinded their eyes to the Truth and the people are caught up in their traditions and beliefs that have been passed down for centuries.

Afraid to change and look for truth, they live in bondage and fear for the rest of their lives.
